Lähdön Aika are what I call brutal Crust...ok...these guys don´t play
really fast, but they have this nice
downtuned guitars and Marko is a crawl-monster...ok...I don´t
understand the language, but I guess the
vocals are against something ..hahaha... cause it can´t be about
flowers or about the sun shining out of the
ass...so much hate...but cool stuff...straight forward and intense and
filthy how it should be in Crust.
Burn Again are faster and more in the vein of old masters like Heresy
and Doom just with some really nice
melody licks in their songs with a voice between Grind and Crust...a
little bit like an angry dog...at the end I
must say...I really like this Split and I will listen to it more than
once...also the quality of the recording is really
well...CrustF**ingCore...you jackass."

"Lähdön Aika are on their side only offering four tracks in eighteen
minutes so it's definitely not your typical Finnish raw hardcore here.
No, this is heavy and slow, but still much more in the Scandinavian
tradition than newer American bands like Tragedy and From Ashes Rise.
Dark and doomy Finnish crust moving forward like a fucking steamroller.
All their tracks are sung in Finnish, which makes this sound even
harsher. Unfortunately there aren't any English translations so I have
no idea on what they're talking about.
Burn Again, also Finland, are cranking out seven tracks in a little
over nineteen minutes so we're talking a bit more speed here. Nothing
that will give them a ticket though. This is rawer and reminds me of a
less heavy and more primitive, and I mean that in the best way
possible, Wolfbrigade. Quite hard and rhythmic with melodic leads here
and there keep me interested for a while - but not enough memorable
tracks makes me lose it again to be honest. In whole they're doing a
solid effort even though I would've lost a couple of tracks to maintain
the quality all the way through. But, as I said - solid Finnish
crustcore. Burn Again express most of their feelings in English but
also have two tunes in Finnish and their lyrics deal with our world
coming to an end, nazis, and fucked up leaders to name some topics."

"Heti alkuun täytyy todeta, että minä en kyllä yhtään pidä Lähdön Ajan
liki minuutin pituisesta (syntikalla tehdystä?) introsta... Onneksi sen
jälkeen koneita ei levyltä kuulu. Kitara-basso-rummut, mitä muuta
kaipaisikaan? Neljä piisiä, jotka kestävät yli vartin verran.
Punkkiasteikolla piisien temmot vaihtelevat hitaasta hitaampaan, mutta
eihän tämä perinteistä punkkia olekaan. Raskasta, raastavaa hardcorea,
eikä sanoituksissakaan iloisia tunnelmia välitetä. Kolme ekaa veisua
ovat keikoilta tuttuja ja varmasti parempia kuin yksikään ekan
mini-cd:n piisi. Tuo neljäs laittaakin sitten hiljaiseksi, yli
seitsenminuuttinen hidastelu.. Vakuuttavaa. Toimii, kunhan näitä ei
levyn täydeltä ole. Burn Againin demo oli hyvä ja tämä on vielä
parempi, d-biittiä juu, mutta huomattavan erilaisella asenteella kuin
esimerkiksi Disclosen biitti. Wolfbrigade tästä mieleen tulee. Voimaa
riittää, ja melodiat toimivat oikeasti. Sanoituksissakin otetaan kantaa
mm. Natoa vastaan, eikä ainakaan aivan pahimpiin kliseisiin kompastuta.
Etenkin eka piisi (JR's promises ja levyn päättävä "Älä suunnittele
kuolemaasi" (jonka laulukieli on tosin on tsekkiä tai puolaa? Mistä
nuistakin tietää..) ovat mieleeni, ja kyllä tämä muutenkin jo mainitun
Wolfbrigaden "In darkness.." -LP:n päihittää. Rajumpi soundi, ja
paremmat kitarakuviot. Silti ehkä nopeamminkin voisi jotkut piisit
paiskoa tulevia piisejä silmällä pitäen. Mutta mutkat suoraksi:
molemmin puolin loistolevy, joka varmasti tulee soimaan paljon
sateisina kesäöinä. Tätä varmaan on hyvin saatavilla, kun julkaisua
hoitaa viisi lafkaa ympäri Suomea.." -Ersuli-
