About me

My name is Sari Tapaninen. I have been living with dogs all
my life. My first own dog was a keeshond. Then came
papillons and breeding started in 1994 under prefix
SABAMORES. I started with a Honey-Pots (my mother's
prefix) bitch and my exclusive bitch line is made out of these
quality papillons. I have exported papillons to Sweden,
Germany, USA, Kanada, Korea, Japan and Brazil.
And imported new lines from USA, Sweden & Japan.
I also believe in the international co-operation and
breeder relationships and I try to visit all the important
dog shows and papillon specialties as often as I can.
I feel that it is very important to see papillons all over the
world, not just in your own country. And meeting old
and new friends who share the same intrest and respect
for this wonderful breed is always fun and exciting !

Scotties

I had my mind set on a scottie because our good
friends had some lovely examples of the breed.
But after seeing one stunning beautiful wheaten scottie,
it had to be wheaten. No matter what it takes or how
long it takes. And it did take some time and effort
 but Trudy, lovely wheaten lady from Russia, was found
with a little help of Internet and some nice friends.
 I had a pleasure owning Int&Fin&JP&Am Ch
Perhaps Sugardaddy, before he went to Japan.
 This stunning black male lives now in USA.
Trudy's brindle halfsister Mocca fullfilled
"the colour lineup". She lives now as a loved pet.

When I was a child my parents had a sloughi, Saba.
This dog was the love on my life. Even made her a
part of my prefix, sabamore - more sabas. There is a
saying: if you once have had a sighthound in your life,
you will never get over it. I didn't. Italian greyhounds
were a long time dream to come true. The little jewels
of my team are from Sweden (co-owned with my mother)
and from the country of the origin of the breed, Italy.
