Arien, the Sun Maiden
| Kun Melkor ja Ungoliant
olivat tuhonneet Valinorin Puut, viimeisestä kuolevan Laurelinin
hedelmästä tehtiin Aurinko. Arien-neito valittiin Maiarin keskuudesta
ohjaamaan Auringon alusta taivaalla. Hän oli tulen henki aivan kuin
Balrogit, mutta hän ei koskaan palvellut Melkoria. Olen antanut Arienille sinisen kaasuliekin hahmon ja henkiolentona hän on osittain läpinäkyvä. Koska Aurinko on kultaisen Laurelinin hedelmä, se näyttää hieman klementiiniltä. |
When Melkor and Ungoliant
had destroyed the Trees of Valinor, the Sun was made of the last fruit
of dying Laurelin. Maiden Arien was chosen among the Maiar to guide the
vessel of the Sun in the sky. She was a spirit of fire just like the
Balrogs, however, she was never deceived by Melkor or drawn to his
service. I have given Arien the looks of blue flame of gas and as a spirit she is partially transparent here. Because the Sun is a fruit of golden Laurelin, it looks a little like a clementine. |
