Hello! I'm Päivi Newman from Jääli, Finland. I have had dogs since 1986, my first showdog was a Tibetan Spaniel called Jadelia Dempsey, Jami. We toured around Finland with varying results, and he became a Finnish champion in 1990. My second Tibbie Lecibsin Swinton, Iimu, arrived in 1990 after a very long wait. I wanted a puppy from very specific bloodlines; Iimu's sire was Lecibsin Maestro a prominent stud dog of it's time. Unfortunately Iimu's show career was cut short when I moved to England, and the dogs stayed with my mother in Finland. My stay in England was meant to be short, but instead of staying for 5 months I lived in UK for 14 years. Whilst living in UK I found a 7 year old Finnish Spitz called Cullabine Icaros, Red, from a local dog shelter. I could hardly leave my countryman in there, could I ?. At Easter 2000 Red got a new playmate, a French Bulldog puppy Valdosta Vinny. So my hobby of showing dogs was revived in England. When Red died in 2001 I got my 2nd French Bulldog, a bitch called Wilcott Virginia Dameja, Ginny. I regularly showed both of my Frenchies, including Crufts twice. Ginny came to me on breeding terms from Sue McKenna (Dameja French Bulldogs), and she had a litter for Sue in 2004. I moved back to Finland in November 2005, and continued showing dogs over here. I completed The Finnsh Kennel Club's Dog Breeders Course in September 2006 and got my kennel prefix Pennybrook in May 2007, also at that time the 1st Pennybrook litter was born. I kept the only boy Kassu and placed a bitch puppy Lahja to a friend of mine on breeding terms. I have puppies available very occasionally. You can find information about planned and previous litters from "Litters"-page. Inquiries wellcome.
