QSL route 2011 RED paint - with QSL happening painted green.
So we all love make QSOs and also afterward handle QSL cards. This is one story abt how system works or not.
0850 local time start QSL route from home KP41KL. 1st stop was in KO59 via KP40 & KP50 where find old man behind new callsign.
Evening went via metro bit more north KO59 and Vlarimir RV1CC give UA1A area buro QSL card to YL,ES & OH. Back trip metro saw how small city SPB really is, 1st time saw there some familiar face also, Sergey RV1AA who was with us => http://www.elisanet.fi/oh5lid/kp70ha_2008.htm
Early wake up and it was bit dark when 2nd QSL route day start. Now via KO49, KO48, KO47 to KO37. I had to think is this route how expensive because saw something like that.
But nobody asked money so don't know. Around 1400 local time cross UA-ES border and half hour later ES-YL border also. Today stop for direct & buro QSL cards was home of Valdis YL2FZ & XYL Marita. So had pleasure for direct QSL - worked earlier KO37 on 2m with Valdis :) KO37 have more snow than KP41 can see.
already was GD = Good Day early morning when start drive back made short visit on Gunars YL2GD QTH. Had also pleasure QSL direct because day earlier worked with him on 144 MHz SSB :)
Then back drive via KO38,KO28,KO29 - ferry jump to KP20,KP30,KP31 to KP41. Just KO29 ES1CW was not home and when said on Tallin repeater that I have QSL cards for ES buro silence was impressive - so ES QSL NIL this time - will look new road when/if go ES summer camp.
Small stop on KP20LG and as can see happy face when receive 70 cm QSL card from YL2FZ.
Pasi took also all UA1A cards and will drop those to OH buro - living quite near SRAL HQ.
Then short last drive back home and 0036 local was back in start point after 1438 km driving.
So what is QSL route on 2011
QSL via buro to YL2FZ & YL2GD from UA1A (Valdis sorted UA1A cards 20th evening and found to him and Gunars few card also).
QSL direct OH5LID-YL2FZ & OH5LID-YL2GD
QSL via LID YL2FZ-OH4LA for example :)
Worst way abt QSL routes saw when received last time buro cards. Seems no more will not roll pile-up to DL on 6 m when receive maybe 20% of QSL back with stamp
"NO-Member, QSL can not be delivered by DARC"
so how to keep cure that volunteer buro system don't receive extra works - don't work pile-up, don't sent QSL or need to ask during every QSO that are u member of DARC?
