Sometimes we run into areas filled with vehicles. 

It takes time to gather information on the vehicles we find. Sometimes too long. And very often I just cannot find enough information about a vehicle to justify a page of its own. Yet they are interesting and charming vehicles, well worth getting presented in my Wonderful World of Vehicles.

Here are some of the tractors.
There is only one entry of each make with only one model of the make covered. The most common makes and models we have met at several locations. And there are different models as well of these makes that we have met with. But little by little they will perhaps get pages of their own.

This Belarus was made by the Lipetskij Traktorij Zavod (LTZ) in Belorussia, Soviet Union. It is a TRAKTOR T 40.

Also tractors of the Minsk Traktor Zavod (MTZ) were imported with the name Belarus.

'Katepillari'
While returning from Kauhajoki we found a wooded site with loads and loads of vehicles among the bushes. There were also several different sized Caterpillars.

Mr. Aatos Mäenpää at Kauhajoki collects anything that moves by motor. On his yard there is this 'tankki', an American Cleveland crawler tractor that absolutely should  get a page of its own. In due time...

One of the tractors on Aatos Mäenpää's yard was this Soviet made DT75. In Finland they were sold under names of 'Harkov' as they were made in Harkov, or  the overly Finnish 'Valto'. The actual name 'Vladimirez' was probably found too difficult for Finns.

'Taavetti'
While driving to the Rämsöö Hard Technology Day, we saw this nice David Brown on the field. Quite obviously on display.

Lurking at an industrial area, this orange one is most probably a West German Deutz 25 type SS.

'Fergu', 'Verku'
At the Mäkelä industrial area together with some other tractors stood this English Massey-Harris-Ferguson.

This Ford 4000 Major represents the design of early '60s that I never liked with its prominent nose.

While returning from Kauhajoki and studying an area with several Caterpillars, we also found other vehicles. Like this 4 wheel drive Super Major with front loader.

At the Mäkelä industrial area there is a yard with some tractors. This West German Hanomag is one of them.

'Pikku-Valmet', 'Piikkilangankiristäjä'
('Barbered Wire Tightener': enough power to tighten, but not enough to snap a barbered wire)
Sometimes you find vehicles at unexpected sites. This tiny Finnish 15 HP Valmet from 1954 was standing on the yard of a flea market. Quite near to center of Mäntsälä.

Valmet is a Finnish tractor make.

This photo was taken just for fun. At a time I not yet was interested in tractors. And not in ones still in use anyway! Therefore I did not write its make and model down. 

Yet it is a most charming tractor anyhow. 

It does have the looks of some Fiat tractors...

On the back yard of the Vammala Tractor Museum stands this tractor with some company. At its back there is some hydraulic apparatus, for which, obviously, the extra frame with a barrel is attached to the front.

At the same site with the Fordson Super Major there also was this handsome. So far I dearn't even make a guess what it was. Though some bigger MAN tractors had this kind of front axel assembly.
